Making Money As an Internet Marketing Consultant

January 30th, 2011

Being an Internet Marketing Consultant is one of the many ways you can make money and not particularly know a lot about the Internet yourself. The important thing is that you will know more than the people you hope to make your customers.

Your client base will be the businesses in your hometown and communities in the surrounding area. If you live in a large city your customer base will be quite large. To make money you will not be doing any cold calling nor will you be going from one business to another trying to talk to the manager or business owner, but you will visit the business after the owner invites you to learn how you will increase his business while decreasing his advertising costs.

Your first step is to find local businesses which have websites. Looking in the phone book is one resource; however, that is not your only source. To make money, you have to spend money; here is your first expenditure, by utilizing the services of USADATA.com. They charge a $50.00 flat rate and will provide the owner’s name, phone number, mailing address, number of employees. The $50.00 is a minimum rate charge for up to 500 businesses ordered. The rate goes up as the number businesses you want info on goes up.

Next you will look up the business online to see if they have a website. You will be looking for sites that do not have a way to get customer information when someone visits their site. Next you will want to write them a letter, in it you will want to introduce yourself. You’re not going to give a bio, but you will tell them you are an e-commerce consultant, or Internet consultant, or something along those lines. Then you will acknowledge their time is valuable and say yours is also, and you would like 15 minutes of their time to explain how they can increase their business traffic. You will tell them you will be able to save them up to 50% on their advertising costs and bring new customers into their store at the same. You will let them know they already possess the tool, it is their website, but they are not utilizing it to its fullest capability. (Most business people do not understand e-commerce, to make money.)

You will want to get a CONFIDENTIAL stamp from Staples or Office Depot and stamp the letter with that stamp. Since the letter is addressed to them and not “current resident” or “business owner”, they will be curious who is sending them that letter and will open it.

You will not want to mass mail this letter, 25-30 letters should generate a good income for you. You will want to show them that installing (which you will do) an auto responder will give them info from their website as to who is visiting so they can send info on sales and other perks they want to give to people who have visited their site. If you don’t know how to install the auto responder you can spend $50.00 by hiring someone from guru.com to do it for you. You will pass the cost off to your customer.

That, in a nutshell, is one way to make money on the Internet without a large outlay of cost on your part.

The Hiring of Marketing Consultants Can Increase Company Revenue

January 29th, 2011

A number of reasons exist in the hiring of marketing consultants for your business. Increasing your exposure in the marketplace is one facet that a consultant might tackle. Another is the creation and implementation of a marketing plan. Of course, the primary reason why you would hire an outside consultant for your marketing needs is to increase overall company revenue.

More Money is a No-Brainer

The main goal of marketing is to increase the revenues for your business. Therefore, it is important for you to recognize when a marketing or advertising and promotions plan is not working for your company. If sales have slacked off or new customers are not being attracted to your products or services, it is the perfect time to invest in the services of marketing consultants. A consultant will evaluate your entire company before offering techniques, advice and promotional methods that will benefit your company as a whole.

While there are no guarantees on the amount of new business your consultant will bring in, it is important to recognise that hiring one for your marketing needs is essential. They can help your company with branding and product identification, increasing exposure through advertising and promotions and even website redesign and online marketing services. If your business offers excellent products and services and just needs to get the word out, a consultant is an important addition to your corporate team, even if only temporarily.

Help at Any Marketing Stage

A good consultant in the marketing field should be able to step in at any point in your marketing project. Perhaps you already have a marketing plan in place but implementation is not going as you would have hoped. It is not too late to bring in a marketing consultant. Of course, a marketing plan and implementation would appear more seamless if you hired a consultant from the get go.

The good news is that a consultant will stick with you as long as you would like. Do you just want a professional to create a plan for your marketing team to implement? That scenario is a possibility. You can also hire a professional to plan, implement and even track the progress of a marketing campaign. Having a marketing team member on the payroll indefinitely to oversee the entire project can be a smart move and important to your financial bottom line.

Marketing is not a business activity that ebbs and flows. You must constantly be on the ball to maintain your product or service presence in the marketplace. Otherwise, customers may forget about you. Marketing consultants can help you stay on top of the competition and help ensure that clients will think of your company first for their needs.

January 28th, 2011

Running a business consultant internet marketing firm is one of the best types of businesses these days. In here, you assist other business establishments in making their names flourish in the industry. Now, who would have though that you can make money from lending others a helping hand? If you are running a similar business as this one, pay close attention to the business consultant internet marketing small strategy that I will be providing you with in here. Make sure to take note of the advantages that article submissions can offer you and your small business consulting firm.

Here are a few of the advantages that article submissions can offer you and your business consulting firm:

1. Articles submissions show your credibility to your target market.

Writing a few articles in a day about your personal experiences will allow your readers to know about your credibility and expertise in the business. Articles can become a medium that you can make use of in spreading the word about how good you are in the business.

2. Article submissions enable you to become uncovered in a lot of search engines on a variety of conditions.

One of the strategies of content submission is usually to intersperse your primary website search phrases into your write-up to ensure that your content articles will aid you in improving your look for engine ranking on your search terms. This will help you in getting organic targeted visitors on your web site on an array of keywords and phrases. You will discover that nearly all of these would have certainly not occurred to you as search conditions. Nevertheless, these conditions will be present in one or more articles or blog posts that you will write. Now, your goal in here would be to produce a call to action on your individual post pages to improve the number of subscribers to your newsletter, which serves as the primary call to action on your website.

3. Article submissions establish you as an expert.

With this, I will give an example about my personal experience. I submit 10 to 12 articles within a month through the use of a content submission service. Anyone seeking content articles that I have written in any of the major content banks will possibly locate at least 10 that I have authored. These days I searched my name, and observed numerous sites have listed me. I would say that about 98 percent of the results refer to me, and that a huge portion of those varieties are links to content blogs, articles banks, and ezines publishing my content articles.

4. Article submissions encourage joint ventures or strategic alliances with organization owners in other industries pursuing exactly the same target market.

I have been previously approached by a variety of other organizations who are seeking link exchanges, strategic alliances, and referrals solely based on reading about me. I have decided to pursue some of these, and I would have certainly not had the opportunity without applying article submissions as a way to spread the word out about my services and my firm.
